1. Pocket Check Policy: While we do our very best to check every pocket, Hometown Suds is not responsible for items left in clothing (like crayons, pens, lipstick, or electronics) or for any damage those items may cause to the load. Please double-check your pockets before your pickup!

2. Damaged & Lost Items: We treat your laundry with over 50 years of expertise and care. However, we cannot be responsible for:

• Items that bleed, shrink, or fade when washed according to the manufacturer’s care label.

• Items without a legible care label.

• Pre-existing damage (holes, frayed seams, etc.).

3. Unattended Pickups/Deliveries: If you choose a contactless pickup or delivery, Hometown Suds is not responsible for the laundry once it has been dropped off at your designated safe spot. We will always send a text confirmation the moment your clean laundry is delivered so you can bring it inside.

4. The "Rainy Day" Rule: In the event of severe Kentucky weather, we reserve the right to reschedule your delivery to ensure your clothes stay dry. We will always communicate with you if the delivery time needs to shift due to storms.

5. Contamination: For the safety of our family, we cannot accept items soiled with hazardous materials, biohazards, or pest infestations (e.g., bed bugs). Such loads will be returned unprocessed at the customer's expense.

6. Missed Pickup Fee: If I drive all the way to your house, I’ve spent time and money, so I reserve the right to charge a $15 “no show” fee if your laundry is not at the pickup spot on the designated day.

7. Please turn all the clothing right side out. This helps me keep labor costs down. Thank you.

8. Minimums: A 15lb minimum ($30.00) applies to all orders.

9. Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service before or at the time of delivery.
